Controversy about Christ : what does the Bible say ?

<<The benefit of the doubt must go to the document itself, unless the author disqualifies himself by recognized contradictions or inaccuracies regarding the facts>>.

Since the fall of man, God promised a savior in Genesis 3 :15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed (Jesus) : He will bruise your head, and you will injure his heel ;1 John 3b The Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil.

He revealed it to Abraham in Genesis 22 :9 When they came to the place that God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there, and arranged the wood. He bound his son Isaac, and placed him on the altar on top of the wood. 10 Then Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to kill his son. 11 Then the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven, and said, Abraham ! Abraham ! And he answered : Here I am ! 12 And the angel said, Stretch not your hand upon the child, nor do any thing unto him ; for now I know that you fear God, and have not withheld your only son from me. 13 Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw behind him a ram held in a bush by its horns ; and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it as a burnt offering in place of his son. (The question we don’t often ask is why God refuses a human being to give an animal when human blood is more powerful than animal blood. The answer is that it is Jesus, this sheep) . John 1 :29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and he said, Behold the Lamb (sheep) of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

To Moses by the bronze serpent number 21 :8-9 The LORD said to Moses, Make for yourself a fiery serpent, and place it on a pole ; whoever is bitten and looks at it will live. 9 Moses made a serpent of bronze, and placed it on a pole ; and whoever was bitten by a serpent, and looked at the bronze serpent, retained life (eternal life spiritually). (The burning serpents are Satan, his demons and their works). John 3 :14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (The image that was depicted was real here. When we look at pharmacies, we see the symbol of the serpent on the pole, to signify that they give physical healing. While God is primarily concerned with our spiritual health) Mark 2 :17 When Jesus heard this, he said to them : It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

In the psalms (zabour for Muslims) David received several revelations from Christ, that is to say that through the psalms we see Christ ; Psalms 3 :1 O LORD, how many are my enemies ! What a multitude rises against me ! 2 How many say about me : No more salvation for him with God ! From the time of Jesus until the end, many people are against Christ. The temptation ; Psalms 91 :10 No evil shall befall you, no plague shall come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels to guard you in all your ways. 12 They will carry you in their hands, lest your foot dash against a stone. Matthew 4 :5 And the devil carried him into the holy city, and set him on the top of the temple, 6 and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down ; for it is written : He will command his angels concerning you ; And they will carry you in their hands, lest your foot dash against a stone. 7 Jesus said to him, It is also written, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 And the devil carried him up again to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 and said to him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Jesus said to him, Get away, Satan ! For it is written : You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only you shall serve. Psalms 40 :2 He has brought me out of the pit of destruction, from the depths of the mire ; And he set up my feet on the rock, He established my steps. (Jesus was put in a rock tomb and rose again).

Isaiah prophesied how Christ would be born and many things ; Isaiah 7 :13 Then Isaiah said, Hear ye therefore, house of David ; Is it too little for you to wear out the patience of men, That you also wear out that of my God ? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign, Behold, the girl will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel. We see its fulfillment in Luke 1 :30 And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary ; for you have found favor with God. 31 And, behold, you will conceive and bear a son, and you will call his name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father (because Mary is of this lineage). 33 He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end. 34 Mary said to the angel, How can this be done, seeing I know no man ? 35 The angel answered him, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the holy child who will be born to you will be called the Son of God. 36 Behold, Elizabeth your relative also has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month. 37 For nothing is impossible with God. 38 Mary said : I am the handmaid of the Lord ; that it be done to me according to your word ! And the angel left her. Jesus will be born for the mission he will have to accomplish, dying on the cross to save us and satisfy God’s demands. And there he will be despised and called every name ; Isaiah 53 : 1 Who has believed what was spoken to us ? Who has recognized the arm of the Lord ? 2 He stood before him like a weak plant, like a shoot out of dry ground ; He had neither beauty nor splendor to attract our attention, And his appearance had nothing to please us. 3 Despised and forsaken by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with suffering, like one from whom men turn away their faces, we have despised him, we have paid him no regard. 4 Yet he bore our sufferings ; he took our sorrows into his lap ; And we considered him punished, Struck by God, and humiliated. 5 But he was wounded for our sins, broken for our iniquities ; The chastisement that gives us peace fell on him, and by his stripes we are healed. 6 We were all wandering like sheep, each one going his own way ; And the LORD has brought upon him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was mistreated and oppressed, and opened not his mouth, like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, like a sheep that is mute before its shearers ; He did not open his mouth. 8 He was taken away by anguish and punishment ; And among his generation, who believed that he was cut off from the land of the living And smitten for the sins of my people ? 9 His tomb was set among the wicked, his tomb with the rich, although he had committed no violence and there was no deceit in his mouth (Jesus was crucified with robbers ; Matthew 27 :37 To indicate the subject of his condemnation, it was written above his head : This is Jesus, the king of the Jews. 38 With him were crucified two robbers, one on his right hand, and the other. To his left). 10 It pleased the LORD to break him with suffering… After he has given his life as an offering for sin, he will see descendants and prolong his days ; And the work of the LORD will prosper in his hand. 11 By the labor of his soul he will satisfy his eyes ; By his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many men, and will take care of their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him his portion with the great ; He will share the spoil with the mighty, because he gave himself up to death, and was numbered with the evildoers, because he bore the sins of many, and that he interceded for the guilty. Jesus interceded and continues to do so ; Romans 8 :32 He, who did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how canwill he not also give us all things with him ? 33 Who will accuse God’s chosen ones ? It is God who justifies ! 34 Who will condemn them ? Christ is dead ; moreover, he is resurrected, he is at the right hand of God, and he intercedes for us !

Jesus was valued at 30 shekels of silver for betraying him ; Zechariah 11 :12 I said unto them, If ye find it good, give me my wages ; otherwise, don’t give it. And they weighed for my wages thirty shekels of silver. 13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter, this great price which they have valued me for ; And I took the thirty shekels of silver, and cast them into the house of the LORD for the potter. Matthew 26 :14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, 15 and said, What will you give me, and I will deliver it to you ? And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. 16 From that time he was looking for a favorable opportunity to betray Jesus. Matthew 27 :3 Then Judas, who betrayed him, seeing that he was condemned, repented, and brought the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 saying, I have sinned in betraying him. Innocent blood. They replied : What does it matter to us ? This concerns you. 5 Judas threw the pieces of silver into the temple, and withdrew, and went to hang himself. 6 And the chief priests gathered them up, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the holy treasury, for they are blood money. 7 And when they had deliberated, they bought the potter’s field with the money for the burial of strangers. 8 Therefore this field has been called the field of blood to this day. 9 Then it was fulfilled which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet : They took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of that which was valued, which was valued of the children of Israel ; 10 and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord commanded me.

The slaughter of infants because of Jesus predicted by Jeremiah in chapter 31 :15 Thus says the LORD : We hear cries in Ramah, lamentations, bitter tears ; Rachel cries for her children ; She refuses to be consoled about her children, Because they are no more. Matthew 2 :16 Then Herod, seeing that he had been tricked by the wise men, was very angry, and sent to kill all the children from two years old and under who were in Bethlehem and in all its territory, according to the date which he had carefully inquired with the Magi. 17 Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled : 18 Crying was heard in Ramah, weeping and great lamentations : Rachel mourns for her children, And did not want to be comforted, Because they are no more.

Jesus died on the cross and this death was certified by the sponsors. Luke 23 :44 It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in the middle. 46 Jesus cried out with a loud voice, Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. And, saying these words, he expired. 47 And when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, and said, Surely this man was righteous. John 19 :32 So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with him. 33 When they came to Jesus and saw him already dead, they did not break his legs ; 34 but one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water. 35 He who saw it has testified of it, and his testimony is true ; and he knows that he speaks truth, that you also may believe.

If the Jews crucified Jesus because He declared himself the Son of God, it is because they well understood the meaning of his words ; Mark 14 : 60 Then the high priest, standing up in the middle of the assembled, asked Jesus, and said : Do you not answer ? What are these people filing against you ? 61 Jesus remained silent, and answered nothing. And the high priest asked him again, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the blessed Son of God ? 62 Jesus answered : I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 63 Then the high priest tore his clothes, and said, What further need do we have of witnesses ? 64 You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think ? All condemned him as deserving of death. 65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with their fists, saying unto him, Guess ! And the servants received him with slaps in the face.

His Resurrection Psalm 16 :9 Also my heart rejoices, my spirit is glad, and my body rests in safety. 10 For you will not deliver my soul to hell, You will not allow your beloved to see corruption. Matthew 28 :1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake ; for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. 4 The guards trembled with fear, and became as if dead. 5 But the angel spoke and said to the women : But do not be afraid ; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here ; he rose again, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay, 7 and go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead. And behold, he goes before you into Galilee : there you will see him. Behold, I have told you. 8 They departed quickly from the tomb in fear and with great joy, and they ran to tell the disciples the news. 9 And, behold, Jesus came to meet them, and said, Hail. They came and took hold of his feet, and they bowed down before him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid ; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee : there they will see me. 11 While they were on their way, some men of the guard came into the city, and told the chief priests all that had happened (the resurrection of Jesus).

The political leaders saw their plan fail. What will they do ? Matthew 8 :12 They, having assembled together with the elders and having taken counsel, gave to the soldiers (the strict Roman guard) a large sum of money, 13 saying, Say : His disciples came by night on steal, while we slept. 14 And if the governor hears of it, we will appease him, and we will save you from trouble. 15 The soldiers took the money and followed the instructions given to them. And this report has spread among the Jews until this day. (In truth, if the soldiers had slept and this happened, they would suffer sanctions and not corruption. Moreover, the tomb of Jesus was closed with a 2 ton stone and affixed seals). Even today Jesus warns us of the danger regarding the false ; Matthew 24 :23 If anyone then says to you, Christ is here, or He is there, believe him not. John 16 :8 And when he is come, he will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment : 9 concerning sin, because they believe not on me ; 10 righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more ; 11 judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I still have many things to tell you, but you cannot carry them now. 13 When the Helper comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth ; for he will not speak on his own, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify me, because he will take of what is mine, and will declare it to you. Colossians 2 :18 Let no man, under the guise of humility and the worship of angels, take away from you the price of the race at will, while he gives way to his visions and is puffed up of vain pride through carnal thoughts, 19 without adhering to the head, from whom the whole body, assisted and firmly assembled by joints and bonds, derives the increase that God gives. If we are going to base ourselves on what people call prophets, today we have the prophet Kacou Philippe who has his own holy book and has followers around the world. The only difference is that he does not use weapons to force men to follow him. And there will always be such people.
