Mohamed was born in 570 after Jesus Christ in Mecca. At the age of 25 he married Kadhidja with whom he had 6 children. He lived among the Qoraïch who worshiped the Kaaba, a cubic building of a dozen meters which contained “at least 360 idols” and a sacred black stone “lucky charm”. It is of this stone that it is said that it was white before and has turned black because of the sins of men. If she doesn’t turn white again, I guess men are damned forever 😭. Now Jesus by his sacrifice takes away our sins because there is no one who does not sin ; James 2 :8 If you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture : You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well. 9 But if you are partial, you commit sin, you are condemned by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law, but sins against one commandment, becomes guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also, Thou shalt not kill. Now if you do not commit adultery, but commit murder, you become a transgressor of the law. John 1 :29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and he said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Muhammad rejected polytheism to embrace monotheism which is a characteristic of the Jews ; Exodus 20 :1 Then God spoke all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 You shall have no other gods before me. 4 You shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any representation of anything in heaven above, or on the earth below, or in the waters below the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them ; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God. He rejects other idols by keeping “Allah” who is the god of the moon (🌟 🌙) and who belonged to his grandfather. His father was “Abdallah”, do you see the correlation with this name ? In 610, at the age of 40, he retired to a cave on Mount Hira to rest. He later stated that the angel Gabriel gave him revelations from Allah, intended for the tribes surrounding Mecca (So, if Muslims reject the fact that Jesus is sent to all nations while he followed the normal path starting at home Matthew 10 :5 These are the twelve whom Jesus sent, after having given them the following instructions : Go not to the Gentiles, nor enter into the cities of the Samaritans ; 6 go ; rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel 7 Go, preach, and say, The kingdom of heaven is near. 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. And the LORD has spoken evil against you. 24 Then Zedekiah the son of Kenaanah came near and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, How did the Spirit of the LORD go out from me to speak to you? 25 Micah answered, You will see it in the day when you go from room to room to hide yourself.) Islam began when the church was going through a dark time. Reactions in Mecca to the revelations were negative. Khadija his wife was the first to convert to Islam, then followed Zayd his adopted son and Ali his cousin. Being poorly received in Mecca, he proclaimed himself a prophet hoping to be accepted by the Jews because God used prophets to speak to them; Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets ; I came not to abolish, but to fulfill. It did not work. Here too it is important to understand the meaning of prophet. The prophet is a person whom God uses either through signs and wonders or is himself a sign ; Ezekiel 24 :27 In that day your mouth will open with the fugitive, and you will speak, you will no longer be dumb ; you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the LORD. He gave himself the title of apostle (proclaimer of the gospel and planter of churches) in the hope of being received by Christians. Something that didn’t work either. What is an apostle ? 2 Timothy 1 :11 For this gospel I have been appointed a preacher and an apostle, teaching the Gentiles. These rejections gave rise to Muhammad’s military battle against Mecca where blood was shed for the first time on behalf of Islam and then among the nations. Rejections of Islam intensified, he and his disciples took refuge in Abysinia, present-day Ethiopia. However, despite the rejections, Jesus never changed his title, he remained the son of God until the crucifixion ; Mark 14 :60 And the high priest stood up in the midst of the congregation, and asked Jesus, and said, Answerest thou nothing ? What are these people filing against you ? 61 Jesus remained silent, and answered nothing. What do you think ? All condemned him as deserving of death. 65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with their fists, saying unto him, Guess ! And the servants received him with slaps in the face. God does not use violence to lead people to Him. This is why after the sin of Adam and Eve, He did not slaughter them ; genesis 3 :21 And the LORD God made for Adam and his wife garments of skins, and clothed them with them. 22 The LORD God said, Behold, man is become as one of us, for the knowledge of good and evil. Let us now prevent him from putting forward his hand and taking from the tree of life, and eating from it, and living forever. 23 And the LORD God cast him out of the garden of Eden, that he might cultivate the ground from which he was taken. 24 Thus he drove out Adam ; and he placed on the east of the garden of Eden the cherubim who wave a flaming sword, to guard the way to the tree of life. Polygamy in Islam was accepted because Muhammad himself was a polygamist. After the death of Kadhija, he married Aisha, Omm Salma, Hafsa, Zeinab of Jahsh, Jowayria, Omm Habiba, Safiyya, Myamuna, of Hareth, Fatima, Hend, Asma of Saba, Zeinab of Khozayma, Habla, Asma or Noman, Coptic Mary and Rayhana. As if that were not enough, he took Zayd’s wife and asked him to divorce her ; sura 33 :37 – When you said to the one whom Allah had blessed with goodness, just as you yourself had blessed him : “Keep your wife for yourself and fear Allah”, and you hid in your soul what Allah would publish. You feared people, and it is Allah who is more worthy of your fear. Then when Zayd had ceased all relations with her, We made her marry you, so that there would be no hindrance for the believers from marrying the wives of their adopted sons, when they ceased all relations with them. Allah’s command must be carried out. Which leads to the pretension of marrying virgins in heaven, Mac 12 :24 Jesus answered them, Are you not in error, because you understand neither the Scriptures nor the power of God ? 25 For in the resurrection of the dead men shall neither marry nor marry, but they shall be as the angels in heaven. On July 16, 622, Mohammed left (fled) for Yathrib. This date marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar, “the date of flight” or “the hegira”. He justified the use of the sword as being a prophet of Allah and responsible for enforcing the truth ; Surah 9 :29 – Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day, who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and who do not profess the religion of truth, from among those who have received the Book , until they pay the poll tax with their own hands, after having humbled themselves. However, here is what the Bible says : John 8 :32 32 you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. He returned to Medina then to Mecca and among the Jews where he shed blood in the name of Allah. At the moment his army was growing. Mohamed must have misunderstood the Bible when certain servants of God fought to conquer « land of habitation » not for religion, Exodus 23 :27 I will send my terror before you, I will route all the peoples among which you will come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs before you. 28 I will send the hornets before you, and they will drive the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you. 29 I will not drive them out of your face in one year, lest the land become a waste and the beasts of the field multiply against you. 30 I will drive them out from before you little by little, until you increase in number and can take possession of the land. On January 6, 630, Mohamed with 10,000 men killed entire tribes in Mecca for having rejected him. It is this culture of violence that continues to this day. However, those who do not know the genesis (beginning) of Islam will say that Islam is a religion of peace. It is a religion of peace for those who accept it, otherwise of war for the opponents. For what ? because Sharia (Muslim law) must be applied to all humanity. After his death in 632, the various caliphs continued his work with greater enthusiasm. Islam has an unofficial sixth pillar : jihad which means struggle or combat. This is where jihadism or terrorism (jihad of the sword) comes from. By making a comparative study of the Koran and the Bible, we understand that Muhammad had contact with the Bible. And there others will say that he was illiterate ; sura 7 :157 – Those who follow the Messenger, the illiterate Prophet whom they find written (mentioned) among them in the Torah and the Gospel (this is the Holy Spirit and not him ; John 16 :13 When the Helper comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth ; for he will not speak on his own, but whatever he hears, he will speak ; and he will tell you things to come.) He commands them what is right, forbids them what is wrong, makes good things lawful for them, and forbids them bad things, and removes from them the burden and yokes that were on them. Those who believe in him, support him, help him and follow the light that comes down with him ; these will be the winners. He got the Bible in Jerusalem during his trading trips. He also had interpreters who translated and wrote things down for him. This is what led him to reject certain aspects of the Bible and embrace others. The texts of the Old Testament were dated 200 years before Christ, the New in the first century and the Koran from the seventh century. The term Islam existed in Arabia before the religion of Muhammad. It alludes to strength, courage and tenacity. It was changed to mean “submission” particularly to Allah and not “peace” as some think. Likewise the word Allah existed and means al “the” and ilah “god”. We can believe that the God of the Bible and the Koran are the same. No, evangelical Christians believe in Jesus God incarnate, his death and resurrection, which is the pledge of their faith and their salvation ; Romans 10 :9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For believing with the heart comes to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth comes to salvation, as the Scripture says : 11 Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame. . However, Islam rejects all of this ; sura 4 :171 – O people of the Book (Christians), do not exaggerate in your religion, and speak only the truth about Allah. The Messiah (yet this word means Savior) Jesus, son of Mary, is only a Messenger of Allah, His word that He sent to Mary, and a breath (of life) coming from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers (even if Jesus is a messenger, why did Mohamed not follow his peaceful model ?). And don’t say « Three. » Stop ! It will be better for you (violence). Allah is only one God. He is too glorious to have a child. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on the earth, and Allah is sufficient as protector.
