In everyday life it is not uncommon to see people speaking badly to others (you will die, you will see, you will be nothing, etc.) and sometimes blessings. The words of Jesus give life but there are words that give death; James 3:8 but no man can tame the tongue; it is an evil that cannot be repressed; it is full of deadly venom. 9 By it we bless the Lord our Father, and by it we curse those made in the image of God. In our childhood neighborhood a man committed suicide because of the words of his wife. In fact he had bought a goat for the funeral with his in-laws. Unfortunately the animal got loose and the man no longer had the means to obtain it. Then the woman humiliated the man with her words.

Especially when someone is in a position of authority, one must be careful of what they say if it is about the truth; Joshua 6:24 They burned the city and everything that was in it; only they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD the silver and the gold and all the objects of brass and iron. 25 Joshua spared the life of Rahab the harlot, and of her father's house, and of all that belonged to her; she has dwelt in the midst of Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to explore Jericho. 26 It was then that Joshua swore, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD who rises up to rebuild this city Jericho! At the time when Joshua cursed the enemy city, some people thought it was fun, but misfortune will strike him who wants to rebuild the wall even out of ignorance; 1 Kings 16: 34 In his time, Hiel of Bethel built Jericho; he laid its foundations at the cost of Abiram his firstborn, and he laid the gates at the cost of Segub his youngest son, according to the word which the LORD had spoken by Joshua the son of Nun.

This is why we must be very careful with our words that we speak towards others; for if it be evil and come to pass, we will be held guilty; Matthew 16:36 I tell you, on the day of judgment men will give account for every vain word that they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

If we want to be anyone (sectarian or child of God), it is through the word; Romans 10:8 So what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. Now, it is the word of faith that we preach. 9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For believing with the heart leads to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth leads to salvation, according to the scripture. Revelation 12:11 They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much as to fear death.

The choice of first names must be made with caution, because when we call a person, it is not silent but a word. We should not look at the beauty of a name to give it to a person, we should seek to know its meaning.
